Flowing like liquid metal

Well things are starting to get back to a normal scheduled.  Last week was a whirl wind of a conference and it was over before I knew it.  Classes were good, there were a few real disappointments that I was really looking forward to.  My favorite classes actually didnt deal with architecture at all, but rather sketching, industrial design and character design.  There is some real potential for the architecture industry to take this huge software portfolio that Autodesk has and put it to good use, they just need to open their eyes and try new things.

As far as the photo front goes, I didn’t take as many photos as I had planned.  I am kinda bummed about that actually I had a mental shot list of some really cool things that I wanted to try on the strip but like all things Las Vegas time just started to slip away.  I have some hopefully cool photos of City Center, I tried to pano some of the buildings on the site I hope they come out well, trying to shoot them at 24mm on the site is a real challenge.

The photo above is taken from the plane as we passed over the eastern most edge of Lake Mead.  The angle of me to the lake to the sun just made the water look like mercury flowing over the desert landscape, it was hypnotic.
