Color Theory: Week 3 Yellow, Day 4

Today we look at things on a smaller scale.  This is a typical fire hydrant in Boston.  Black body, bright yellow cap.  They stand out, you can see them for blocks.  Good for the firemen who need to know exactly where they are to fight a fire, bad for the drivers who can never find a parking spot in the city.  Boston is a city with more cars then parking spots, as most are, and it seems these little guys are every couple hundred feet.  Every time there is an opening that looks like a parking spot, its more often then not a hydrant and you can just hear the drivers cursing at the top of their lungs as they circle the block again looking for a place to park.
