Color Theory: Week 2 Red, Day 6

Today we visit Copley Square on an unusual warm sunny Saturday afternoon.  For Red today, we see red as a sign of luxury.  Here are some of the awnings on the Fairmount Copley Plaza, a very luxury old school hotel.  The hotel has served as a place to stay for heads of state, presidents, actors and alike over its history.  The red awnings lead you down a muted neutral facade towards the entrance.

SHAZnyc - Love the treatment of the wall with the pop red. Nicely done.
