Photoshop World Boston is coming up from March 25-27th with precon day on the 24th. Its 4 days of insane amounts of learning fun and networking. Over the last year I have drank the cool aid and have become more and more involved in the NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals) community. In doing so I have volenteered to organize and lead the NAPP forum photowalk through Boston, being from Boston it only made sense to me! If you go to the NAPP member website and log onto the forums you will find a Google Earth file containing the photowalk route. The file attached to the first post is outdated please go to the post on page 11 of the thread for the latest info and file.
Other things happening that week, Tuesday I will attending the NAPP photo safari precon with photography greats Moose Peterson and Joe McNally, which we will spend 9 hours together shooting around the city. Later that evening is the offical NAPP forum party at the Sheraton Hotel Lounge, it is also the location of the NAPP Tweet Up meet up.
Wednesday is the first official day of the conference. It starts with the Keynote put on by NAPP and Adobe, it is always a good time. Wednesday is also portfolio review day. Where you have the chance to be matched up with one of the pros and have your portfolio reviewed by them. Wednesday night is the offical NAPP party, this year being held at a club called The Estate in the Alley in downtown Boston.
Thursday is a full day of class, followed by my photowalk which starts promptly at 7:30, see the NAPP forums for more details. The conference concludes Friday afternoon with some closing ceremonies and give always, its going to be a long tiring week but I am looking forward to it and to finally meeting all the NAPP members that I have gotten to know over the last year on the NAPP site.
