Well I just received 2 new Dell 22″ Ultrasharp model 2208WFP…My thoughts. Save your money for the 24″ model or step down to the 20″ model. I can say this from using both other models at work. The 22″ retails for $249. While the coloring is pretty good, (would probably be better after a proper calibration), the red is way too bright. But the BIG thumbs down is its sharpness. No matter what you do to tweak this thing, text is still not crisp, its either too fuzzy or too aliased, there is no dead on crispness. I think the reason for this is the native resolution for this monitor is 1680×1050 that is the same native resolution for the 20″ model, so stretching the monitor by 2″ and not increasing in resolution Dell has brought down the quality of this monitor. I think these monitors will be going back and I will just go with one 24″ monitor
